blogs are great for teaching and learning

Thanks to Paul at the Globe for what follows.
Here are a couple of his blogs which he has put together for lessons:

http://globerocks.blogspot.com/
... which could be a nice follow-on from a lesson on Great British Rock Musicians.
Students would write a song using one of the backing tracks on the blog.

Another blog from Paul:

http://paulglobe26.blogspot.com/
... on how to be truly EVIL.
Containing a questionnaire working out your true evilness and a lot of other silly stuff. Great for teenagers.

As Paul says: 'The main point of having the videos on the blog is that
1) students have to stay on task and have no need to stray off onto other sites, and
2) students are in charge of their listening.'

A video guide to creating your own blog:

The easiest way to put a blog together is at:

Posting videos and inserting links is pretty easy too.

And you can even make up your own wiki:

Paul has his own wiki, containing a lot of great on-line materials:

Thanks again, Paul!
