There's been a lot of digital learning happening these last months:

But much of this virtual learning has not just been a list of videos to watch or websites to look up - but also having your teacher on-line too - which we can call 'blended learning':

And there's a lot of interest in it in these times:

The industry is getting quite excited, with a lot of jargon:

Upstream raw materials and equipment and downstream demand

Classroom units and online phases are coordinated with regard to teaching methods, contents, and timing and meshed to result in a meaningful, productive combination of all components. This provides students with a consistent and coherent learning experience. 

Whatever the professional babble says - it means that, because the world changing so fast, there will have to be a lot of flexibility and building up of media+digital competences:

There will be different combinations of face-face, followed by Zoom/Skype, followed by some on-line activities - with the student doing things in their own time and collaborating with others by sharing via social media and other platforms:

There will be the small things, such as 'learning nuggets':

There will be larger platforms:

And there will be the 'massive open on-line courses' or mooc

And in the middle of all of this we need to follow the rules for collaboration, otherwise known as nettiquette

Finally, do students have the discipline and ability to do it for themselves?
